Make a Difference as a Computer Science Teacher
Teaching Personnel are looking for confident and resilient Computer Science teachers to support schools across Sutton Coldfield and the surrounding area.
This role is ideal for qualified teachers (QTS) with a strong background in Computer Science and IT. You will be delivering lessons that develop students’ skills in coding, programming, artificial intelligence, digital literacy and problem solving. You will provide consistent support and guidance to help students engage with technology and prepare for future study or careers in IT.
What You’ll Do
Deliver engaging Computer Science and IT lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
Teach coding, programming and AI concepts to students
Develop students’ digital literacy and technology skills
Support pupils in small groups and classroom settings
Promote positive behaviour and engagement
Build strong professional relationships with students and staff
Act as a positive role model within the school environment
Who We’re Looking For
Qualified teachers with QTS in the UK
Strong subject knowledge in Computer Science, IT, coding and AI
Confident, calm and consistent in the classroom
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Resilient and able to manage challenging behaviour
Experience working with young people in teaching or classroom settings
DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
