Band 4, Points 5-6. Actual starting salary: £8,706 per annum

About the Role
This varied and rewarding role combines two main areas of responsibility:
Examinations Support
* Assist with organising exam rooms and coordinating the invigilation team
* Support the preparation and distribution of exam timetables
* Carry out invigilation duties when required
* Be present on results days to support the smooth running of the process
Main Office & Reception Duties
Outside exam periods, you will be a key member of our busy main office team, helping to run the school’s reception and administrative functions. Duties include:
* Daily attendance recording and contacting parents where necessary
* Welcoming visitors and providing a warm, professional first point of contact
* Handling phone calls and enquiries
* Updating student records using SIMS
* Processing incoming and outgoing post
* Supporting general office administration such as typing, filing and reprographics
* Supervising student receptionists and guiding them in their responsibilities
This is a frontline role where no two days are the same—you’ll use your judgement, initiative and excellent people skills to keep things running smoothly.
Who We’re Looking For
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
* 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C or above
* Experience working in an office or administrative environment
* Strong IT and keyboard skills
* Excellent organisation and time‑management
* A calm, professional manner when dealing with the public
* The ability to prioritise, multitask and work both independently and as part of a team
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
