We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and highly motivated SEN Teacher to join a supportive primary school in Dulwich, starting as soon as possible. This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about inclusive education and has experience working with pupils who have a range of special educational needs. You will play a key role in ensuring that all pupils can access the curriculum, make excellent progress, and develop confidence and independence.

As an SEN Teacher, you will plan, deliver, and assess high-quality, differentiated lessons, tailored to the specific needs of pupils. You will work closely with teaching assistants and other support staff to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and evidence-based strategies that support learning, behaviour, and social development. You will also liaise with parents, carers, and external professionals to ensure that pupils receive coordinated and effective support.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, deliver, and assess differentiated lessons tailored to pupils’ individual needs
* Implement IEPs and monitor progress towards targets
* Provide both individual and small-group support for pupils with SEN
* Collaborate with teaching assistants and other staff to ensure inclusive learning
* Promote independence, resilience, and positive learning behaviours
* Support pupils’ social, emotional, and communication development
* Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and behaviour
* Communicate effectively with parents and carers about pupils’ progress and needs
* Contribute to staff meetings, CPD, and whole-school initiatives
* Uphold safeguarding procedures and ensure the welfare of all pupils

* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Have experience teaching pupils with SEN in a primary setting
