Role Overview: As a Traffic Management Operative, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring safe and efficient traffic flow on highways and construction sites. Your responsibilities will include: 12AB Operative - Setting up and maintaining traffic management systems - Safely directing traffic during roadworks, events, and emergencies - Undertake traffic counts, calls to clients and subcontractors, timings and near misses - Help and guide new trainees Foreman - Assist and advise managers to help schemes run smoothly and efficiently - Oversee and coordinate a crew, ensuring roles are carried out safely, and project objectives are achieved - Collaborating with colleagues and clients to ensure smooth operations Requirements for Traffic Management Operative: - Eligibility to work in the UK - Own transport - Flexibility to work days and nights, and 2 weekends per month - Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points and held for more than 10 months - Within 1-hour driving distance from the depot - Valid traffic management qualifications (e.g., Lantra 12AB, 12AForeman or IPV) Ready to Make a Difference?
