Residential Care Worker – Children’s Residential Home
We are looking for caring, motivated, and passionate Residential Care Workers to join a stable and supportive children’s residential home caring for young people with EBD and complex needs. This is a hands-on care role where you’ll be supported, valued, and given genuine opportunities to develop your skills and build a long-term career in children’s care.
No previous experience is required (although experience in an Ofsted-regulated setting is desirable). Full training and ongoing development will be provided.

Your Role as a Residential Care Worker
You will play a vital role in providing safe, consistent, and nurturing care to children and young people. Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a stable environment where young people feel valued, supported, and empowered to achieve positive outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting young people with daily routines, education, and activities
* Promoting positive behaviour, boundaries, and emotional wellbeing
* Building positive, trusting relationships with young people
* Supporting care plans, risk management, and safeguarding practices
* Maintaining accurate records and contributing to team handovers
* Working in line with Ofsted standards, policies, and procedures
This is a hands-on role where your care, consistency, and commitment make a genuine difference every day.

Essential:

* Willingness to learn and develop professionally
* Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins
Desirable:
* Experience working with children or young people (including care, education, or support roles)
* Understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries
* Experience or awareness of Ofsted environments
* Full UK driving licence
