Service Description
The Pharmacy Purchasing and Distribution Team supply medicines across the whole of the OUH NHS Foundation Trust meeting the needs of patients medicine requirements.
The team is based in our warehouse situated on the Unipart site in Cowley, however this post involves rotation across all Oxford Trust sites.
Main Duties Include But Are Not Limited To
* Carrying out Pharmacy ward top-up services
* To pick and pack appropriate goods for delivery to wards and departments.
* To check and put away Pharmacy deliveries
* To process returns and waste medicines in line with departmental policy
* To complete relevant units of BTEC in Pharmaceutical services within the designated time frame
