Responsibilities
* Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of low voltage electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, fire alarm systems, security systems, emergency lighting, and access control.
* Conduct regular testing and inspection to ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and relevant codes, and compile accurate documentation and reports.
* Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve faults in low voltage systems using appropriate diagnostic tools and techniques; carry out repairs and replacements as needed.
* Carry out planned preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime, increase system reliability, and extend the lifespan; create and maintain maintenance schedules.
* Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures; comply with electrical regulations, codes, and standards; report hazards or incidents promptly.
* Collaborate effectively with team members, contractors, and clients to achieve project goals and customer satisfaction; provide guidance to junior members when required.
* Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including maintenance logs, inspection reports, work orders, and equipment inventory.
Qualifications
* C&G Level 2 & 3 Diploma in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
* C&G 2360 Parts 1 & 2 (Test & Inspection certificate preferred).
* 18th edition reference.
* Strong Electrical & HVAC experience.
* Knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems.
* Knowledge of building fabric and experience carrying out basic fabric reactive repairs when required.
* Sound understanding of Health & Safety obligations related to maintenance activities.
* Must be prepared to work out of hours when required.
* Good communication and organisational skills.
* Positive "can do" attitude.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
