Position Summary The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving new revenue opportunities for [Hotel Name], a newly refurbished property transitioning from 4? to 5?. With a primary focus on the London market, this role will build and nurture key relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, luxury consortia, event planners, and MICE specialists. The goal is to position the hotel as a top choice for high-end corporate stays, leisure travellers, and events.
Key Responsibilities
Market Development Build and strengthen the hotels presence in the London corporate and leisure markets .
Identify, prospect, and convert new accounts across corporate, MICE, luxury leisure, and consortia segments.
Secure contracts with key London-based companies and travel partners.
Act as the hotels ambassador in the London market, attending client meetings, networking events, trade fairs, and roadshows.
Sales & Revenue Growth Proactively generate leads and close deals to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
Negotiate rates, packages, and contracts that maximize hotel revenue.
Cross-sell F&B, meetings, weddings, and events to London-based clients.
Work closely with Revenue and Marketing teams to align sales efforts with pricing and promotional strategies.
Account Management Maintain and grow existing relationships with London-based travel agencies, corporate accounts, and event planners.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business through personalized service.
Develop quarterly account development plans and share progress with the Director of Sales.
Reporting & Insights Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline, and revenue contribution from the London market.
Monitor competitor activities within London to identify opportunities.
Track performance against KPIs (room nights, revenue, ADR, market share).
