Job purpose
We have an excellent opportunity for a graduate building surveyor to join our Edinburgh office. Whether you are a recent BS graduate or have some experience, you will be part of an expanding team working across various building surveying disciplines in a commercial environment. Full support will be provided to achieve your APC, including attending corporate graduate training sessions with national experts to upskill both TFT and client graduates.

Key accountabilities
You will work with prestigious clients such as M&G, L&G, and Aviva, engaging in a mix of professional and project work including:
1. Contract administration
2. Surveys and scheduled condition assessments
3. Technical due diligence
4. Dilapidations
5. Building pathology
6. Due diligence services
7. Specification and maintenance management
8. PPM, RCA’s, and licenses to alter
9. Pre-acquisition surveys
10. Project monitoring
11. Working towards APC competencies
Performance criteria
* BSc (Hons) or MSc in Building Surveying (RICS accredited)
* Experience in a commercial BS firm is advantageous but not essential
* Ability to communicate confidently with diverse stakeholders
* CAD experience is a plus
