Flying Futures Activity Leader will form part of a hands on team to implement and deliver sports and physical activity, employability and community sessions across Yorkshire (Doncaster, Selby, Bradford) for children and young people. This role will engage young people in the heart of their community, and in schools/colleges through using sport and physical activity as a tool to engage.
The role will is flexible, with opportunities during terms time, holidays, through the day and evenings.
The purpose of this role is to deliver high quality, engaging and fun sessions against set outcomes whilst being a positive role model to young people.
The post holder will need energy, enthusiasm, confidence, flexibility and a creative approach to be successful in this role.
Responsibilities
* Delivering sport and physical activity diversionary activities in the community to young people
* Engaging young people in positive activities through high quality provision of activities
* Supporting the delivery of in-schools sessions across Doncaster
* Monitoring and reporting each session
* Ensure the delivery is delivered in a safe environment whilst maintaining safeguarding is at the heart of the provision.
* Be a positive role model to young people
