Overview
European Operations Graduate Programme – Supply Chain & Procurement (2026). Location: Leven (Scotland), Shieldhall (Glasgow), St James Gate (Dublin). Start Date: 1 September 2026. Closing Date: 10 November 2025.
What to Expect
Across a 3-year rotational programme, graduates gain hands-on experience in our manufacturing operations with tailored learning and leadership development. Possible Year 1 rotations include Leven, Shieldhall, and St James Gate.
* Year 1: Introduction & Immersion — focus on continuous improvement; rotations may include Process Improvement Lead, Continuous Improvement Specialist, or Governance Improvement Lead.
* Year 2: Deep Dive into Production — exposure to a new category, developing problem solving and coaching skills; rotations may include Deployment Manager, Digital Manufacturing Lead, Site Governance Specialist.
* Year 3: People Management Focus — lead teams and manage against business goals; roles may include Business Leader, Packaging Team Leader, or Site Operations Manager.

Eligibility includes having or expecting an academic degree (preferably in Operations Management, Business, STEM, Brewing & Distilling, or related fields) and being fluent in English. With European opportunities, you must be mobile and willing to relocate during the programme. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK and Ireland; sponsorship is not provided for undergraduates or graduates seeking the right to work in the UK.
Rewards & Application Details
Salary is location-dependent; example Year 1 salary in the UK is in the region of £38,000, with an annual bonus opportunity and benefits package. We encourage early applications and focusing on one suitable programme.
Additional information: Pymetrics is used as the first stage of the application process for Diageo’s Early Career programmes. Our assessment centres are scheduled between November and February; successful candidates will be contacted as the process progresses.
