Our public sector client are looking for a Painter to join them on a temporary basis. Pay Rate - £15.22ph - £16.03ph
Responsibilities
* To undertake all works to the required standard in accordance with current regulations following manufacturer's instructions.
* To carry out tasks within the NWLDC Multi-Skill Assessment to the required standard.
* To utilise all tools, accessories and equipment issued in an appropriate manner.
* To effectively contribute to the provision of accurate records for time, SOR\'s and materials to each works order with the use of a smart phone device (PDA)
* Complete work surveys to establish work and materials required.
* To liaise with the Asset Management Support Team to ensure job activities are scheduled effectively.
* Support a culture where excellent customer service and continuous improvement is part of the working day.
* To maintain vehicle stock levels at optimum level so that a \'Right First Time\' approach can be achieved.
* Comply with all Health and Safety policies and procedures.

o To always see the service through the eyes of the customer and make suggestions for improvement where appropriate
o To carry out duties efficiently and effectively

o To participate in the Council's appraisal scheme and to undertake any necessary training and development as identified for the job role
o To ensure high standards of health and safety practice are maintained in accordance with council policy, including the health and safety and welfare at work of themselves and colleagues.
o To promote the Council's Equality and Diversity Policy to ensure service provision and employment practices are non-discriminatory.
o To undertake any other reasonable tasks appropriate to the grading of the post and as required by the line manager
o To assist in the event of a civil emergency in any way as instructed
