About The Role
Part Time Role 16 hours
In your role as an Activities Co‑ordinator at HC-One, you will bring kindness to every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes. You will plan and implement activities that delight residents and support the Home Manager in organising essential fundraising events.
You will work closely with residents to build their confidence, develop new activity ideas based on their hobbies, and involve the care home team—all with a sense of kindness above all else.
We are looking for someone with a background working with vulnerable individuals, ideally with experience developing activity programmes. You should have strong planning, organisational and IT skills, and be able to manage your time effectively while communicating considerately and kindly with residents and colleagues.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You must recognise signs of possible abuse, harm or neglect, know what to do if concerns arise, attend appropriate safeguarding training and report concerns, including escalating them if necessary.
