We're on the lookout for an Associate Marketplaces Account Director to join our Marketplaces team at our Stockton HQ or Newcastle City Centre office!
The Associate Marketplaces Account Director will manage a portfolio of clients, working with them on marketplace strategy and growth across multiple marketplaces, including Amazon and eBay. The right candidate will have a keen interest in helping sellers expand across third party platforms, incorporating content writing, CRO and creative skills tailored to each marketplace's best practices.
By utilising the latest ‘best in class’ technology and leveraging partnerships to drive excellence the Marketplaces Account Director will put the client first reacting and adapting when required with a strategic mindset.
Strategy and impeccable execution are key to the role, ensuring that clients benefit from the Marketplace service and have a clear and transparent view of the work carried out.
1. Overall responsibility for client portfolio and client relationships
2. Overall responsibility for client portfolio retention and happiness, measured by NPS & CSAT
3. Maintain the highest standards of marketplace best practices and implementation of strategy
4. Continuously strive to produce the highest results for Visualsoft clients via marketplaces
5. Coach, mentor and train other Visualsoft staff members to produce the highest quality work for clients
6. Constantly strive to improve and maintain processes and procedure documents
7. Identify and execute client training relating to Amazon and eBay platforms and best practices
8. Develop the service offering to maintain best-in-class standard
9. Responsible for the commercial growth of the client portfolio using marketplaces
10. Identify and assist with sales opportunities within your portfolio
11. Handle and prepare sales documentation and sales pitches within your portfolio
12. Lead, speak and engage at external events and conferences
13. Maintain expert knowledge at the forefront of marketplaces
14. Stay up to date with emerging tech and trends
Requirements
15. Extensive proven experience either agency or client-side, specialising in marketplaces (Amazon or eBay most desirable)
16. Proven expertise in external marketplace platforms and tools, analytics, forecasting and measurement
17. Experience in building and executing marketplace strategies, whether in-house or for clients
18. Working to tight deadlines as a team and as an individual
19. Client-facing experience
20. Client meeting experience and proven strategy presentation skills
21. Analytical and data driven
22. Confident in both written and spoken communication with the ability to present to, and engage, audiences
23. Great organisation skills, accuracy and attention to detail
24. Be able to work as part of a team as well as using own initiative
25. ‘Self-motivated’ with an ability to demonstrate a can-do approach
26. Displayed creation and direction of client strategies where you can prove results
27. Accountable for both client and overall performance, highlighting ways to enhance both and act on underperformance

29. Confidence using the Google Suite
