ABOUT THE POSITION:
We are seeking a motivated Outside Sales Representative to join our team. The outside sales representative’s role involves selling and/or introducing the company to both new and established clients. Responsibilities include quoting customers, taking orders, entering, tracking, and following up on orders. The most important aspect is building relationships with current and prospective customers.

Responsibilities
* Maintain and expand the customer database.
* Attend sales group meetings.
* Accurately capture and track information in the customer relationship management (CRM) system.
* Quote and handle order execution from acceptance to completion.
* Coordinate between customers and traffic dispatchers to ensure on-time delivery of materials.
* Communicate with customers regarding current market information and gather feedback.
* Obtain and provide feedback on competitor pricing and equipment to management.
* Establish credible relationships with new customers and maintain ongoing relationships with existing customers.
* Manage a database of potential customers and contact them regularly for new opportunities.
* Collaborate with Inside Sales Representatives to build a sales pipeline and close deals.
* Make outbound sales calls to prospect new customers.
* Note suggestions or complaints and communicate them to the Quality/Operations group.
* Utilize CRM software to keep track of customer interactions.
* Support the company's Quality System.

Education & Experience:
* Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university.
* Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficient in computer skills including typing, numerical entry, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Exceptional communication skills.
* Problem-solving and creative thinking abilities.
