ICT Digital Service Development Officer - The Role
Are you passionate about driving digital transformation and creating innovative solutions Join our ICT Services team as a Digital Service Development Officer.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact on public services and work within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the development of user‑centric digital solutions across the Council, ensuring technical excellence and alignment with our digital strategy
* Design, test, and implement digital forms, workflows, and integrations using tools such as Power Automate, PowerShell, and Microsoft Copilot Studio
* Engage stakeholders through user research, collaborating with vendors, and using feedback and analytics to inform development
* Support project delivery, maintain documentation, and upskill system users
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience in technical development, systems integration, and interfacing IT systems
* A strong track record of involvement in projects and an understanding of project methodologies
* Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite and software development
* Skills in analysing and reporting spatial data
* A graduate‑level qualification, or a technical qualification with relevant experience
* Experience with tools and languages such as Power BI, PowerShell, HTML, SQL, JavaScript, XML, VB Script, ASP, and C# .NET
* Familiarity with Microsoft Project, Access, Excel, and report‑writer packages
