Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised accounts/Payroll Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely invoicing and payroll processing while supporting various administrative functions within the finance department. This position requires a strong understanding of payroll systems and accounting software, as well as excellent data entry and analytical skills.
Duties
* To ensure customer invoices are produced in a timely manner.
* To ensure customer credits are produced in a timely manner.
* Maintain an efficient credit control system.
* To ensure payroll records and maintained as per company requirements (timesheets etc).
* To ensure continuous compliance with Company policies and procedures.
* To use own initiative in all aspects of duties and responsibilities.
* · Undertake photocopying of original documents
* · To make outgoing calls / enquiries
* · To process stationary requests
* · To answer and deal with general enquiries and telephone calls from the customers and record calls as per company policies
* Housekeeping / workstation tidy at all times
* · Maintain accurate timesheet/ overtime records for all staff
* · Log and process absence / sickness records
* · Log and process holiday records
* · Advise payroll team of new starters/ leavers
* · Generate all non-contractual ambulance invoices
* · Record findings of Patient Surveys
* · Log and file absence requests
* · Maintain office holiday planner
Skills
* Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Familiarity with NHS Trade Shift software is highly desirable. .
* Strong organisational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* Good communication skills to liaise effectively with team members across departments.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From £14.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 18 per week
