Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative colleague to become a Head of Sixth Form.
The successful candidate will have responsibility for students' development, behaviour and welfare in KS5 and will play a key role in ensuring they make good progress.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Assistant Headteacher for Sixth Form.
Responsibilities
* Take responsibility for students' development, behaviour and welfare in KS5 and support their progression.
* Collaborate closely with the Assistant Headteacher for Sixth Form to drive improvement and ensure high standards.
* Inspire students to succeed with a clear vision, commitment to delivering targets for the future and raising standards of teaching and learning.
Requirements / Qualities
* Excellent communication skills with a student‑focused approach and high expectations.
* Ability to motivate students and raise standards of teaching and learning.
* Good knowledge of current and future developments in KS5 education and Teaching and Learning.
* Energetic and aspirational for career development in teaching and leadership.
