The role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Consultative Seller to join our team and lead strategic engagements around Dynatrace’s observability platform. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a client-facing environment, understands enterprise IT ecosystems, and excels at uncovering business needs to deliver tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Act as a trusted advisor to enterprise clients, understanding their business challenges and aligning Dynatrace solutions to meet strategic goals.

2. Lead discovery sessions, workshops, and solution presentations with C-level stakeholders and technical teams.

3. Collaborate with pre-sales engineers, marketing, and delivery teams to craft compelling value propositions.

4. Drive pipeline growth through targeted outreach, relationship building, and strategic account planning.

5. Stay current on Dynatrace capabilities, industry trends, and competitive landscape.

6. Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure.

7. Leverage the DXC Dynatrace partnership network

Requirements:

8. Proven track record in consultative selling within enterprise software, preferably in observability, APM, cloud, or DevOps domains.

9. Strong understanding of Dynatrace and similar platforms (e.g., Datadog, New Relic, AppDynamics).

10. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

11. Ability to build rapport with both technical and business stakeholders.

12. Experience working with complex sales cycles and multi-stakeholder environments.

13. Familiar with sales methodologies such as MEDDIC, Challenger Sales, BANT or other

14. Master degree in Business, IT, or related field; MBA is a plus.
