The candidate will play a vital role in supporting various HR functions, ensuring that our human resources operations run smoothly and efficiently. This position requires strong organisational skills and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation.
We’re a close-knit, family-run business looking for an experienced and hands-on HR professional to join our team on a part-time basis. As our company continues to grow and evolve — with increasing demands in the Accounts department and team changes — we’re looking for someone who can bring solid HR expertise while also fitting into our unique and people-first way of working.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the recruitment process including job offers, onboarding, and contracting
2. Manage and coordinate MMU placement opportunities
3. Maintain and update holiday and absence records (“Who’s Off” system)
4. Monitor and report on sick days and absence trends
5. Provide advice and support on maternity processes and policies
6. Assist with the administration of monthly Electric Car Scheme invoices
7. Track and manage daily staff clock-ins
8. Ensure policy documents are up to date and in line with legal requirements
9. Work closely with managers to support and advise on staff-related matters
10. Provide general HR support across the business
11. Be a point of contact for both team members and leadership for HR queries
