We are looking for a Clinical Administrator to join our team at Cygnet Sedgley Lodge & House. You’ll be working 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 09:00 am till 05:00 pm, helping ensure the safe and smooth running of services for the people in our care. The Service: Cygnet Sedgley House and Cygnet Sedgley Lodge offer a 34 bed high support inpatient rehabilitation (level 2) service for men with complex needs. The service is designed to provide an environment that promotes mental health recovery by focusing on space, personal privacy and dignity. Cygnet Sedgley House and Lodge is located just outside Wolverhampton city centre, with good transport links to many areas in the West Midlands. Residents We Support: Men aged 18 Detained under the Mental Health Act (1983) or informal Primary diagnosis of mental illness with: Complex comorbidities Substance, drug and alcohol abuse Treatment resistance Behaviours that challenge Aiming for a return to the community or community-based care History of sexual abuse or domestic violence Typical diagnoses: schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar affective disorder or depression May have secondary diagnoses of mild learning disability, autism spectrum disorder or personality disorder May have a forensic history and/or be stepping down from secure services May have a history of repeated acute admissions Your Day-to-Day Provide a high standard of organisational & administrative support Prepare reports & other written materials Keep files & records as required Work co-operatively with all other members of the administration team to ensure the department runs smoothly Taking notes & minutes at meetings when required Answer the telephone & respond to all enquiries in a friendly, efficient manner What we are looking for is An experienced administrator used to liaising with customers/clients Organised, naturally helpful and a good multi-tasker Computer literate – including Windows/Word/Excel/Outlook or equivalent Knowledgeable of telephone systems Polite, friendly & approachable with excellent communication skills GCSE Maths and English qualified, with a good level of numeracy and literacy Diligent & accurate, with an eye for detail and an understanding of confidentiality. Although it is a set shift pattern we need flexibility to cover annual leave/sickness/training.
