Role: Technical Business Analyst
Location: Gloucester (Hybrid, 3 days onsite)
** Due to the nature of the projects, candidates must be actively SC Cleared and willing to go through DV clearance! **
The Opportunity
Are you a Technical Business Analyst looking to work on large scale digital transformation programmes rather than traditional BA work?
This is an opportunity to join a global technology consultancy delivering modern cloud, platform and enterprise solutions across complex environments.
You will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and engineering teams, translating business needs into clear technical requirements that support successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Gather, analyse and document business and technical requirements
* Translate requirements into user stories, process flows and functional specifications
* Work closely with developers, architects, testers and UX designers
* Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand ups and backlog refinement
* Support testing activities including reviewing test scripts and triaging defects
* Identify technical constraints, risks and dependencies
* Support business readiness activities during major implementations
Essential Skills
* Strong experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements
* Experience working within Agile delivery teams such as Scrum or Kanban
* Experience using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio or Excel
* Ability to write clear user stories and technical documentation
* Basic understanding of APIs, databases and system integrations
* Strong analytical skills including experience working with SQL and large datasets
* Experience collaborating with cross functional teams including developers, testers and architects
Desirable Skills
* Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
* Experience with enterprise platforms such as Salesforce
* Familiarity with GenAI technologies
* Experience with UX or wireframing tools such as Figma or Balsamiq
* Professional Business Analysis certification
