Job Title: Commercial Property Solicitor
Salary: DOE (Depending on Experience)
On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor to join a well-regarded and growing legal team based in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a respected firm handling high-quality real estate matters across a broad range of sectors.
The Role
The successful candidate will manage a busy and varied caseload of commercial property matters, including acquisitions, disposals, development agreements, and landlord and tenant work. You’ll work with a wide client base including investors, developers, SMEs, and occupiers, offering commercially focused legal advice and transactional support.
Key Responsibilities
* Handling commercial property transactions from instruction to completion.
* Drafting and negotiating sale and purchase contracts, leases, licences, and related documents.
* Advising clients on lease arrangements, development projects, and property finance matters.
* Conducting due diligence and title reviews.
* Managing client relationships and maintaining high service standards.
* Working collaboratively with colleagues across other departments when needed.
Candidate Requirements
* Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with 3+ years’ PQE in commercial property law.
* Proven experience handling your own caseload.
* Strong drafting, negotiation, and client-facing skills.
* A proactive, professional, and commercial approach to work.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.
