You, the new Maths ECT
You will teach Maths across KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to contribute to KS5 in time. You will plan clearly sequenced lessons, explain concepts with precision, and use assessment to address gaps in understanding. You will build strong relationships with pupils, maintain high expectations, and create a focused learning environment. You will work closely with the Director of Maths and colleagues who review curriculum and teaching regularly. If you are organised, reflective, and committed to improving your practice, this school will support you to develop quickly and confidently through your ECT years.
