We are currently looking for a mainteancne engineer for a client who specialises in designing, extruding and finishing aluminium profiles for a wide variety of sectors Duties will include : Managing the completion of ongoing PPM’s in addition to any emergency or unforeseen breakdowns. Planning, installation, testing, operation, maintenance and repair of all mechanical equipment and facilities (minimise lost time due to breakdown). Demonstrating a flexible, creative approach to problems and troubleshooting. Driving positive continuous improvement. The ability to ensure the existing legacy plant is maintained to the highest level possible as new plant is invested in and integrated. Thoroughly and accurately carry out daily checks on essential plant, equipment and machinery as part of the company preventative maintenance schedule (BOPV5) Carry out major refurbishment of plant, equipment and machinery as directed. The ideal applicant will have: Qualified Mechanical/Electrical Engineer (NVQ Level 3) Electrically bias an advantage Knowledge of Motors, Gearboxes, Hydraulics, Pneumatic, and PLC’s Previous experience heavy plant equipment Basic knowledge of oil monitoring systems Comfortable in a re-active/pro-active PPM, TPM environment Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: 46k, shift allowance included 8 hour shift Day shifts and night shifts Monday to Friday Rotating 6am to 2pm, 2pm to 10pm and 10pm to 6am
