We are the UK’s largest end to end drainage solution provider with depots strategically located across the UK from Aberdeen to Plymouth, to ensure round the clock coverage for customers and clients alike.
About the Role
An opportunity has arisen to recruit an experienced Sales Professional with drive and ambition to be appointed into the role of Area Development Manager for one of our well established UK Drainage Depots. This role reports to the Regional Sales Manager to develop new business opportunities and maintain as well as develop existing relationships.
Location: Manchester
Hours: Monday to Friday – 37.5 Hours per week.
Salary: depending on previous experience + uncapped earning potential (OTE 75k)
Responsibilities
* Targeting and sourcing new business across the region
* Managing incoming enquiries from new and existing clients
* Attending site visits to evaluate work requested
* Quoting for works quickly in accordance with costings and scope of work
* Proactively following up on quotations to secure business
* Utilising reports in support of quoting remedial works
* Upselling to existing clients, maintaining relationships and understand future needs to secure business
* Managing your own diary, administration
* Working closely with depot manager and operations teams to achieve sales targets and forecasting
* Travelling to various locations and regional training events & meetings
* Supporting the client during the entire process to ensure the smooth running of works completed
* Proactively selling the services through advertising campaigns and LinkedIn, etc.
Experience and qualifications required
* Business to Business Sales experience essential
* Service industry sales experience - ideally with drainage/waste management or construction related industry or multi utility essential
* Excellent work ethic who can go above and beyond to ensure the best service is delivered
* Desire to succeed in a niche but highly rewarding market
