Job summary
An exciting opportunity for a Community Team Manager has arisen with the North Norfolk Community Mental Health Team, based at Hellesdon Hospital.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to join our team. This role includes providing clinical and operational leadership to the Team, including line management responsibilities, and ensuring effective governance processes. You will be responsible for ensuring effective service delivery and contributing to the overall development of our service and clinical practice.
Main duties of the job
* You will be expected to provide visible leadership, promoting a values-based culture and acting as a role model within the environment.
* You will be responsible for leading and managing the team, ensuring they are suitably trained, informed, and competent to carry out their duties, with mechanisms for supervision, appraisal, objective setting, and personal development planning.
* Demonstrate a clear understanding of service user needs and care requirements, contributing to MDT decisions based on knowledge and expertise.
* Ensure care is delivered in a patient-centered framework involving service users, families, and carers, with feedback used for service improvement.
* Ensure team practices within trust policies, protocols, standards, including NICE guidance, and report complaints and incidents appropriately.
* Implement systems to embed learning and continuous improvement from incidents and complaints.
* Distribute tasks and responsibilities fairly within the team to provide effective and responsive care for service users and carers.

Person Specification
Experience (Essential):
* Senior clinical experience including staff management/supervision.
* Leadership in mental health care and service development.
Desirable:
* Experience with complex case management.
Qualifications (Essential):
* Nursing degree or equivalent, Dip SW, Dip OT, or HCPC registered.
Desirable:
* Ongoing professional development towards degree level.
