Key Responsibilities
1. Handle a full caseload of residential conveyancing transactions from initial instruction to completion and registration.
2. Conduct detailed title investigations, identify issues and resolve them efficiently.
3. Review and advise clients on mortgage offers and lender requirements.
4. Liaise with clients, other solicitors, estate agents, lenders and third parties via telephone, email and in person.
5. Prepare files for exchange and completion, ensuring accuracy and compliance throughout.
6. Manage all post-completion matters, including Land Registry applications and requisitions.
7. Deliver high standards of client care and build strong working relationships.
8. Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve departmental targets and maintain service excellence.
Requirements
9. Minimum of three years’ experience handling residential conveyancing matters.
10. Strong knowledge of residential property law, regulatory requirements and best practice.
11. Ability to manage files independently and efficiently.
12. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
13. High level of organisation and attention to detail.
14. Confident user of case management systems and general IT platforms.
