Teaching Personnel are looking for a dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to work across a range of nurseries and primary schools in the Stanley area. This supply role offers excellent flexibility, with both day‑to‑day and long‑term opportunities available depending on your preferences.

✅ Key Responsibilities
* Support children in EYFS settings with their learning, development, and daily routines.
* Assist the class teacher with planning and delivering engaging early‑years activities.
* Provide 1:1 and small‑group support to children who may need additional help.
* Promote positive behaviour and create a safe, nurturing learning environment.
* Contribute to observations and assessments of children’s progress.
* Build strong relationships with staff, pupils, and parents.

✅ Requirements for the Role
* A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or an Early Years (EYFS) recognised qualification.
* Experience working with children aged 3–5 (nursery or reception).
* A warm, patient, and enthusiastic approach to supporting young learners.
* Good knowledge of the EYFS framework.
* Ability to adapt quickly to new settings and follow school procedures.
* A valid DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one through Teaching Personnel.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
