Play Assistant - Full time post
This position is based in the Children’s Hospital. You will work alongside experienced Health Play Specialists, providing normalised play for hospitalized children. The role is based on an inpatient ward.
The Play Team and Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust recognize the importance of play and its impact on a patient’s experience. We are seeking someone committed to meeting the needs of children and young people, demonstrating care and compassion in their work.
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to learn and develop new skills with the support of the play team and help promote play services.

For this role, we require:
* A Childcare qualification equivalent to NVQ Level 3, and
* Minimum 1 year of post-Level 3 qualification experience working with children, or
* Currently undertaking a Foundation degree in Hospital Play Specialism.
