Responsible for protecting critical nuclear systems, infrastructure, and data from cyber threats. Ensures compliance with strict regulatory standards while maintaining the safety, security, and resilience of nuclear operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor, detect, and respond to cyber threats across nuclear IT and OT (Operational Technology) systems
* Implement and maintain security controls for critical infrastructure
* Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
* Ensure compliance with nuclear and cybersecurity regulations (e.g., NIS, IEC 62443)
* Support incident response and recovery planning
* Collaborate with engineering and safety teams to integrate cybersecurity into nuclear operations
* Maintain security documentation, audits, and risk assessments
Key Skills & Experience:
* Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, tools, and frameworks
* Experience with industrial control systems (ICS/SCADA) security
* Familiarity with risk management and threat analysis
* Understanding of network security, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems
* Knowledge of nuclear sector regulations (desirable)
* Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) preferred
