This is an opportunity to join an established business as an Event Steward on a casual basis.
Duties
* Providing guidance, information and directing customers and being the first point of contact.
* Providing an excellent level of knowledge and customer service.
* Manage safety and security processes and procedures.
* Monitor and control crowds.
* Preventing unlawful entry into venues.
* Ensure safe entry and exit of customers.
* Checking tickets and accreditation.
* Managing conflict.
* Working as part of a team.
* At least 18 years old.
* Reliable, punctual, flexible and smart in appearance.
* Friendly, approachable and always professional.
* Enthusiastic and motivated to do a great job.
* Ideally previous experience in an events environment or customer service role.
* Able to interact with clients and customers in a positive manner.
* NVQ2 in Spectator Safety or willingness to work towards the qualification.
* Willing to work at other Carlisle Events venues across the region
