Principal Data Scientist Pricing - We’re looking for someone who’s eager to make a genuine difference, helping shape how we approach pricing in a rapidly evolving energy industry. You’ll work closely with our Pricing team, combining your technical strengths with a collaborative, people-first mindset to deliver insights that drive smarter, fairer and more sustainable decisions. Principal Data Scientist AI & Flex - This role will focus on supporting AI and Data Science within our Flex space one of the most exciting and strategically important areas of the business. You’ll help us explore new ways to use intelligent data solutions, working alongside innovative thinkers and technical specialists to unlock the full potential of advanced analytics and automation. Principal Data Scientist Credit Risk and Customer Insights - We’re also seeking a Principal Data Scientist with strong experience in debt and credit risk, ideally with a background in customer segmentation. In this role, you’ll help us better understand our customers, building models and insights that support fair, informed decisions and stronger customer relationships. Reach out to jennifer.hurley@eonnext.com Are we the perfect match? 5–7 years of hands-on experience as a Data Scientist, with exposure to productionised models Degree (BSc or MSc) in a quantitative or technical field (Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Machine Learning) Strong programming skills in Python (production-level) and SQL; confident with modern ML/AI libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch Familiarity with MLOps frameworks, model deployment, and cloud-based platforms (Databricks, AWS, Azure) Strong experience with data visualisation tools and techniques; able to turn complex results into accessible insights Excellent communicator; able to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences with clarity and empathy Passionate about collaboration, curiosity, and mentoring others; motivated to create positive change through data It would be great if you had: Experience in the energy or retail sector Background in pricing, commercial modelling, credit risk, or debt Exposure to PySpark or other big data tools Experience with NLP, Generative AI, or advanced predictive modelling Here’s what else you need to know: Role may close earlier due to high applications.
