This role sits within the Asset Coordination team who are an important and integral part of live production helping to provide a quality service to Solotech’s wide range of clients. The Asset Coordinator is responsible for tracking our wide range of assets within the UK and ensuring they are in the correct locations as required. Similar roles would include a stock controller, logistics coordinator and warehouse asset tagging.
The role provides invaluable support ensuring that the operation delivers an exceptional service to its customers. The role requires the incumbent to work flexibly, in a developing environment.

1. Overseeing the Audio department’s inventory.
2. Ensuring all technical equipment is on site ready for preparation by the date the warehouse team need to start the job.
3. Working with the Hire In & Hire Out teams ensuring all scanned data is correct and the stock management system reflects true and accurate data.
4. Working with the Head of Assets to ensure all sub hire requirements are met, booked, and scheduled in for collection and return.
5. Acting as a centre point of contact for the warehouse team and the Technical Project Manager(s) regarding inter-company equipment moves.
6. Manage equipment shortages and report any concerns to the Head of Assets
7. Is the point of contact for the warehouse team regarding any equipment anomalies.
8. Ensure the end of year stock check is completed as required and any lost equipment is reported to the Head of Assets.
9. Keep the stock file and product database up to date and accurate.
10. Any other reasonable ad-hoc requests as required by management.
Essential skills / experience:
11. Excellent organisation, time management and planning skills.
12. Previous experience in audio assets management and knowledge of the audio industry would be advantageous.
13. Quality driven approach with the ability to follow strict guidelines, checklists, and instructions.
14. Attention to detail and accuracy.
15. Good written and verbal communication skills.
16. Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well independently in a fast-paced environment.
17. Initiative and the ability to work unsupervised, whilst recognising when to ask questions.
18. Flexible team player, willing to 'go the extra mile' to get the job done.
19. Willingness and ability to learn quickly.
20. Competent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, ability to use a database software.
21. Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality.
22. Ability to anticipate problems and find effective solutions aligned to the Company's policies procedures.
Level of education:
23. Educated to A-Level standard.
24. Educated to industry related degree level or equivalent is
Work experience:
25. A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a relevant role.
