The Role: We are looking for a kind-hearted, dependable Nursery Nurse, to support one of our partner Nurseries in Wellingborough. You'll assist experienced practitioners in delivering daily care and engaging activities for children aged 0-5. This hands-on role involves helping with routines, supporting play sessions, maintaining the environment, and building trusted relationships with children and parents. The Setting: A small, nurturing nursery with a family ethos and focus on early communication skills. Key Responsibilities: Support practitioners with planned activities Help maintain tidy, safe play spaces Assist with meals, hygiene, and routines Promote inclusion and positive behaviour Prerequisites: Level 2 Early Years qualification Passion for childcare and learning Basic EYFS knowledge and safeguarding awareness Team player with a caring nature All candidates who register with Simply Education are required to provide references for the previous 2 years of work, as well as complete an enhanced DBS check.
