This role operates on a hybrid working arrangement that requires some travel, mainly to our Coventry Head Office and Birmingham Campus, with occasional travel to other campuses in Leeds, London, Nottingham, and Manchester. Travel is expected approximately once a week, but may fluctuate based on business needs. This arrangement is a non-contractual benefit, and Arden work locations are added to employment contracts.

About our Department
The Academic Office supports academic governance, quality assurance, and student success. It oversees programme validation, policy development, regulatory compliance, and assessment management, working closely with faculties, external bodies, and ensuring standards align with sector benchmarks and accreditation requirements.
About the Opportunity
As Faculty Admin Manager, you will support the Dean, Associate Dean, and Senior Leadership Team in achieving strategic and operational goals. You will lead the academic administration team, ensuring efficient delivery of administrative services, overseeing work allocation, and collaborating with stakeholders across departments and external bodies to ensure compliance and quality.
You will represent your Faculty in university-wide initiatives, promoting process improvements and contributing to a high-quality administrative service. This role is ideal for a highly organized, proactive, and collaborative professional in a dynamic academic environment.
About You
You should be confident, proactive, and highly organized, with experience managing administrative functions in complex, fast-paced environments, preferably in Higher Education or a regulated sector. Strong leadership, team management, process improvement, and operational planning skills are essential. You should have:
* Experience supervising an administrative team
* Experience working with senior leaders
* Excellent organizational and time management skills
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* A collaborative approach and relationship-building skills
* A solution-focused mindset and initiative for process improvement
* Understanding of the student journey and related administrative touchpoints
You should be comfortable navigating ambiguity, driving consistency, and ensuring the administrative service is responsive and effective.
