About Us:
We are the Information Intelligence Group (IIG) of CACI UK, a specialist software consultancy providing bespoke solutions to complex operational problems.
The Opportunity:
Within our Central Government team, you will work on fast-paced, agile projects, utilizing agile methodologies and DevOps techniques to build backend systems, data processing pipelines, and progressive web apps. As a Software Solution Architect, you will lead the delivery team, define high-level technical architectures, manage customer relationships, and ensure project delivery within timelines.
Responsibilities include:
1. Implementing full-stack software solutions including design, development, and testing.
2. Drafting technical Statements of Requirements for cloud-native applications and platform solutions.
3. Defining and assessing technical architectures, solutions, and business requirements.
4. Producing high and low-level technical designs and operating models.
5. Ensuring adherence to Agile practices (SCRUM & Kanban).
6. Providing consultancy support to customers on technology choices and complex problems.
7. Utilizing a range of technologies, focusing on open-source libraries.
8. Deploying systems across public (AWS, Azure) and private clouds.
9. Managing customer relationships.
10. Maintaining professional development in a changing tech landscape.
11. Leading and supporting delivery team members.
The Fit:
Ideal candidates will have experience in architecting software solutions, producing technical designs, and working directly with stakeholders. Previous consultancy or Government project experience is advantageous.
Security Clearance:
All team members must obtain security clearance, requiring British passport holder status and UK residency of the last 5 years.
