Job Description Occupational Therapist / Physiotherapist – Moving and Handling Specialist Adult Social Care – MEAP Moving and Handling Team An exciting opportunity has arisen within Adult Social Care for an Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist to join the MEAP Moving and Handling Team. This role focuses on providing specialist moving and handling assessments and recommendations to support citizens in maintaining independence, safety, and quality of life within their own homes. The successful candidate will have experience in moving and handling, equipment, and adaptations, including assessing and recommending solutions such as ceiling track hoists and other manual handling equipment. The role holder will deliver a comprehensive and streamlined service to support individuals, families, and carers, ensuring people are able to live as independently as possible while reducing risk and promoting safe care practices.
