Location: This role can be based at our Manchester office which is in West Didsbury (free car parking) or our Hebburn office which is located near Newcastle, with the choice work remotely for 2-3 days per week.

You'll make a difference by
* Drive the strategic direction of our protection and automation portfolio
* Influence the future of power system technology
* Lead innovation in digital substation solutions
* Shape the roadmap for next-generation protection systems
* Define product strategy across transmission, distribution, and industrial applications
* Lead full product lifecycle management
* Drive innovation through cross-functional collaboration
* Engage with key customers and industry partners
* Analyze market trends and competitive landscape
* Champion product perfection and customer satisfaction
You're excited to build on your existing expertise, including:
* Electrical Engineering background (degree or equivalent experience preferred)
* Some experience in power systems/electrical equipment industry
* Deep understanding of protection relay technologies
* Solid understanding of utility operations and substation automation
* Perfection in analytical thinking and strategic planning
Ideal Additions
* Experience with IEC 61850 and digital substations
* Background with utilities, OEMs, or EPCs
* Ability to translate technical complexity into customer value
* Industry network and market insight
