Job Advert Role Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Therapy Manager at The Priory Hospital Altrincham.The Business Therapy Manager forms part of the Senior Management Team and reports directly to the Hospital Director and is accountable for both inpatient and day care services including driving and delivering a high quality service.
About You:
The role holder will play a key part in developing and delivering the hospital strategy, providing operational leadership to the team ensuring effective clinical governance.
The role holder will be responsible for the financial performance of the therapy team and proactively manage budgets against actual performance.
The role holder will be responsible for business development of therapy service provision in the hospital including actively promoting the hospital's therapy services, identifying opportunities for growth and ensuring plans are in place for maintaining census throughout the year.
The role holder will regularly monitor, review and report on the performance of therapy services programmes against key performance indicators, quality assurance targets and audit results ensuring the team works within the standards and frameworks of professional codes of conduct.
It is essential that the role holder has a detailed understanding of statutory regulations, is passionate about providing high quality care and can demonstrate forward thinking, proactive and creative leadership and decision making skills. Additionally the role holder must be able to demonstrate commercial and business acumen when managing cost and income performance of the therapy team.
Experience of working at a managerial level within a healthcare environment is essential as is a strong background of leadership and people management and the management and development of a highly skilled and motivated workforce. The role holder will also have a strong track record of innovation.
