The Role:
As a Financial Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in managing and ensuring the accuracy of our financial records, compliance with regulations, and supporting the business with critical financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards
Produce and reconcile journal entries and balance sheet accounts
Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing variance analysis against actual performance
Manage tax compliance, including VAT, corporation tax, and other regulatory requirements
Support year-end audits and liaise with external auditors
Provide financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and business planning
Key Requirements:
ACA/ACCA/CIMA-qualified or QBE
Prior experience in a Financial Accountant role
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving
