Job Description
This is full time, permanent position. Working 39 Hours per week. 09:00-17:15 (4 days), 09:00-17:30 (1 day).
The purpose of this job is to lead the operation and development of the Chemistry and Stability department.
Job Responsibilities
1. Scheduling of team activities.
2. Primary batch audits.
3. Technical and data review.
4. Client communications and meetings.
5. Support the resolution of quality issues.
6. Write and review of exceptions.
7. Lead root cause analysis and quality risk assessments.
8. CAPA.
9. Change controls.
10. Support equipment calibration, qualification, and maintenance.
11. Writing and review of Chemistry procedures, protocols, reports.
12. Support self-inspections.
13. Support client audits and regulatory inspections.
14. Propose and implement continuous improvements.
15. Departmental forecasting and budgeting.
16. Support commercial team.
17. Member of site leadership team.
18. Attend QMR.
19. Delivery of chemistry training.
20. Mentor and develop team members.
Qualifications
21. Degree in life sciences is preferred.
22. Experience in a GMP- or GLP-regulated environment,
23. Experience in a Chemistry role.
24. Experience of Stability storage and/or testing experience.
25. Excellent understanding of GMP.
26. Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
27. Demonstrates leadership skills, good judgement, and the ability to motivate others.
28. Excellent report writing and organisational skills.
29. Quality consciousness with the ability to consistently work to industry standards.
30. Positive, methodical, tenacious, and innovative approach to work.
31. Very strong problem solving skills.
32. Excellent technical knowledge and competencies in the required chemistry techniques.
33. Passionate about quality and customer service.
34. Excellent training abilities.
35. Excellent communication skills. Ability to understand client requirements and able to devise and articulate the most appropriate solutions.
