Responsibilities in this role include: Manage a portfolio of corporate and personal tax clients. Review tax computations prepared by junior staff. Advise clients on tax planning opportunities. Oversee compliance for corporate and personal tax returns. Liaise with HMRC on client matters and resolve enquiries. Support partners with ad hoc tax advisory projects. Monitor deadlines to ensure timely filings and payments. Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members. Identify tax-saving opportunities for clients. Handle capital gains, IHT, VAT, and SDLT issues as needed. Keep up to date with tax legislation and industry changes. Assist with onboarding of new tax clients. Work with audit and accounts teams to ensure cohesive client service. Prepare and present reports for internal and client meetings.
