Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Builder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse range of construction skills and be able to work on various projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to collaborate effectively with other tradespeople.
Responsibilities
* Carry out carpentry tasks, including framing, roofing, and finishing work.
* Perform construction painting to enhance the aesthetic appeal of structures.
* Execute masonry work for building foundations, walls, and other structures.
* Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
* Engage in fabrication tasks to create custom components for projects.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met.
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
Requirements
* Proven experience in carpentry, roofing, construction painting and masonary is highly desirable.
* Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to construction tasks.
* Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
* A valid driving licence may be required for travel between job sites.
