Role Overview
We are looking to appoint a Research Assistant to support the NIHR‑funded Human Papillomavirus Vaccination (HPV‑V) Study, which explores HPV immunisation uptake among school‑age children, particularly within disadvantaged and ethnically diverse communities. The role involves participant recruitment, qualitative data collection and analysis, and supporting knowledge mobilisation activities. You will work closely with schools, community organisations, and stakeholders across the East Midlands, contributing to the delivery of high‑quality research outputs.
Responsibilities
* Recruit study participants and coordinate participant schedules.
* Collect qualitative data through interviews or focus groups.
* Assist with data analysis and produce research output.
* Support knowledge mobilisation activities.
* Travel regularly to schools and community settings.
Qualifications
* Postgraduate qualification in Psychology, Public Health, Epidemiology, Medicine or a related discipline.
* Experience in qualitative research methods, including interviews or focus groups and data analysis.
* Strong communication skills and a commitment to inclusive, impact‑driven research.
* Motivated, organised, able to work independently and collaboratively.
* Familiarity with safeguarding procedures and digital literacy.
* Experience in participatory research or public engagement is an advantage.

Vacancy Terms
