What you will do:
* Support and guide the team within the fostering service, ensuring compliance with fostering regulations and best practices.
* Develop and implement care plans tailored to each child’s needs, providing robust support to foster parents.
* Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to uphold a high standard of service delivery.
* Conduct regular assessments to ensure foster placements are safe, supportive, and nurturing.
* Provide expert advice and handle emergencies with professionalism and sensitivity.
This position requires previous mainstream fostering experience, which is essential. While previous experience in a senior social worker post is desirable, it is not mandatory. Attention will be given to compliance with a five-year reference check and any pertinent qualifications.
