Immediate requirement for an experienced full-time Mechanical Fitter to support a small manufacturer of special-purpose machinery/equipment. The role will consist of assembling and fitting parts/ sub-assemblies, which are subsequently mounted on a main hydraulic machine frame. This will entail marking out, drilling and some remedial work. The ideal candidate will be trained, holding a suitable, relevant qualification, whilst being able to display proven experience from similar positions. The successful applicant must be able to: · Read and interpret engineering drawings · Modify or adjust parts as required (machining ability advantageous) · Competently use hand and power tools, test equipment and measuring instruments · Inspect and check fitted parts and sub-assemblies · Able to complete standard engineering calculations Mechanical Fitter (Hydraulic Engineering) Location; Rushock, Droitwich, Worcestershire Salary ; £35-40k/annum Position for a Mechanical fitter looking for a workshop-based role that can offer a varied workload where you will assemble, repair, and maintain hydraulic systems and components for a successful and expanding family-run engineering business.
