Our role
The Medical Writer will play a key role within the Medical team and the broader business. You will be relied upon for your scientific expertise and commercial awareness to guide projects and add significant value.
You will produce high-quality copy across various media, including websites, email campaigns, sales aids, tenders, presentations, event collateral, and disease awareness campaigns. You will also work directly with clients alongside the Client Services team.
We are seeking an experienced medical writer with a strong background in a healthcare communications agency or pharmaceutical company. Knowledge in oncology, diabetes, HIV, infectious diseases, or dermatology would be advantageous.
What you can expect to be doing:
* Managing client brand activity and serving as the primary writer across multiple clients and therapy areas
* Producing and editing copy suitable for various media, considering user experience and project flow
* Collaborating with the Client Services team to develop solutions that meet and exceed client expectations, and offering innovative ideas
* Mentoring junior team members and taking responsibility for their development
* Keeping up-to-date with industry regulations (e.g., ABPI Code of Practice) and medical approval processes (Zinc and Veeva)
What we’d like to see from you:
* At least 1.5 years of experience as a medical writer in an agency setting, ideally in creative medical writing
* Experience working with global pharmaceutical companies and creative briefs
Recent graduates with no agency experience are not suitable for this role, but we encourage you to apply for Junior Medical Writer or graduate programs.
