Our client, based near Heathrow, is looking for an experienced 360 Machine Operative to join their team.
Shift: Monday - FridayHours: 5:00pm - 6:00amPay: £16.00 per hour
Job Purpose
As a 360 Machine Operative, you will play a key role in maintaining efficient site operations by:
Ensuring in-feed materials are consistently and evenly fed into the Metso shredder to maximise productionBlending materials appropriately before loading into the shredderIdentifying and removing oversized, hazardous, or unsuitable items prior to processingKeeping the tipping hall clear and organised by managing waste stock effectivelyMaintaining both the 360 Materials Handler and Metso shredder to a high standardIdentifying and reporting unsuitable or problematic waste deliveriesKey ResponsibilitiesComplete daily mobile plant maintenance checks for both the 360 and shredderKeep the machine and cab clean and well maintainedEnsure all equipment is refuelled (Diesel and AdBlue) at the end of each shiftClean filters and radiators in preparation for the next shiftReport throughput issues and assist with resolving blockagesCarry out Fire Watch duties during shift operationsEnd of Shift Requirements
All operatives must leave equipment in a clean and operational condition, including:
Refuelling (Diesel & AdBlue)Checking engine and hydraulic oilsGreasing the machineCleaning filters, radiators, and cabAdditional InformationOperatives may be required to use other plant machinery if appropriately certifiedWhen machinery is not in use, you will be expected to assist with other site dutiesWeekend work will be required on a rota basis for loading operations
