Job title: NCS Area Manager Location: Sheffield with travel to Huddersfield, Kirklees ,Wakefield and South Yorkshire This role will be onsite & flexibility for hybrid working This is a full-time role permanent role. (37 hours per week) A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Area Manager to join our Education Development Trust careers team covering Sheffield and surrounding areas As Area Manager, you will play a key role in the regional management of the contract area. You will effectively manage the successful operation and delivery of the National Careers Service in a designated area; managing performance to ensure contractual targets and quality standards are met. You will: have experience of managing teams, ideally across multiple sites have experience of managing performance in the context of targets/KPIs Be highly analytical, able to collate and analyse a wide range of performance and contextual data, to inform decision making. have a collaborative approach with demonstrable experience of building and maintaining both internal and external stakeholder relationships. have the ability to translate national policy direction and strategic objectives into practical local plans and actions. be organised and methodical with excellent administration and IT skills including knowledge and understanding of social media. have an understanding of the career information, advice & guidance agenda for adults. have knowledge of the labour market and issues relating to learning and employment. A good working knowledge of using online platforms for meetings and other work commitments. Must have a full, clean driving license with access to a vehicle for business travel or reliable public transport serving your managed areas.
